Daphna Baram: Chicken Soup Crusader 5-6pm
Daphna Baram: Chicken
Soup Crusader at The 2017 Women In Comedy Festival
60 min show in the basement theatre
In this unsafe space
we all find ourselves in, with Brexit looming and Trump Trumpeting, Daphna
Baram attempts to clear us all a path. England’s Middle Eastern Mary Poppins,
armed with a semi-automatic umbrella, a tub of Jewish penicillin and a spoonful
of hummus, Daphna will lead you safely to shore - or drown laughing.
The show was directed by
Chicken Soup Crusader
will launch at Brighton Fringe, and is booked for Curious Art Festival and The
Camden Fringe. It is Daphna’s 5th Solo.
Daphna Baram is an
Israel born London based comedian, lapsed lawyer, journalist, author and
academic. She worked as a human rights lawyer representing Palestinians in
Military courts and news editor in Jerusalem, a Senior Associate Member of St

“extremely sharp, caustic sense of humour and a very wicked
streak...Baram is "that" friend, the one who whispers bad ideas into
your ear and has you constantly exclaiming ‘I can't believe you said that!’
(Views From The Gods, Brighton Fringe)
